Who I am
Hi! My name is Russell or Rusty or Russ, whichever you prefer. My approach is casual, but also rooted in science. Like a good horse trainer might say they “always knew they wanted to work with horses”, I’ve always known I wanted to work with people. I’ve studied the more interesting psychological treatment approaches, like humanistic theory, motivational and mindfulness based approaches, but graduated from a rigorous Psychology program rooted in the science of Cognitive Behavioral Theory. My Master's degree is a Master’s of Science in Social Work.
I believe that there’s a framework that fits everyone and every problem, but that good outcomes are rooted in a good therapeutic rapport as well as an approach that actually works. Let’s let your challenges guide our treatment approach, I’m here to listen and help you tackle your hurdles!

PRACTICE
I have been practicing for 13 years, am fully licensed and insured. I work with all types of adult clients, often working with men’s issues, relationship issues, LGBT+ issues, moral injury/religious issues, confidence building, depression, and more.
Sessions are through encrypted video or audio, your preference.
